The Rev. Steven A. Steitz was installed as a Lay Pastor in the Anglican Province of Rwanda for the Anglican Mission in the Americas by Father Allen Kannapell, Network Leader of the Lighthouse Family of Churches on July 11, 2009 and then ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons by Bishop Doc Loomis on May 23, 2010.

He is pursuing his Certificate of Diaconal Studies with the AMIA's Anglican School of Ministry-Little Rock.
