Father Jack was born and raised in Hoboken, NJ and is a first generation American with parents from the Philippines.  Father Jack was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons in 2000 and to the Sacred Order of Priests in 2002.  He was received as a Priest into the Anglican Province of Rwanda for the Anglican Mission in the Americas by Bishop Thad Barnum and Bishop Frank Lyons (Anglican Diocese of Bolivia) on January 19, 2007.  Father Lumanog is also a member of the Oblates of the Holy Spirit religious order.

Our Rector is a 1996 graduate of Cornell College (BA, Religion).  Graduate studies include Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees.  Father Jack has served in various ministry capacities as Archdeacon to the Bishop and Province, Interim Rector, Evangelist, Worship Leader, Youth Pastor and as Home Missionary-in-Training at an inner city church. 

Father Jack also serves as a Chaplain volunteer with the United States Air Force Auxiliary where he holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and serves as Great Lakes Region Deputy Chaplain for Administration and Michigan Wing Chaplain.  He has his endorsement to serve as a military chaplain from the Anglican Mission.  In June 2006, Father Jack was honored as Kansas Wing Chaplain of the Year

Father Jack is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ through preaching and in building relationships with others.  He also loves spending time with his wife, Amy, and daughters Ainsley Mae and Hadley Grace.
